Flash-Butt Welder, Direct Current (DC) Inverter Type

Flash-butt welder (direct current (DC) inverter type) is a forge-type butt weld with two major welding processes of flashing and upsetting. The flash process generates heat in the work pieces to guarantee a high quality weld. The upset at the weld joint is both smooth and symmetrical. This welding machine with high productivity can be widely used for the welding of metal wires, rods, panels or other metal materials of special shapes.

Features

Welding rectifier, silicon power rectifiers and high Si content electrical steel sheets allow for large output direct current and the machine is energy saving and environmentally friendly.
Special shaped electrode for the good welding of vertical butt joints of metal tubes and metal plates
Vertical pneumatic clamp or vertical hydraulic clamp ensures the accurate and draw-resistant butt welds.
A track carriage guide with two axes boasts high accuracy and wear- resistance and provides running stability to make consistent joint quality.
The processes of pre-heating, flashing, upsetting are all under easy-to-use microprocessor precision control.
Chillers at temperatures exceeding the dew point can be set to avoid internal sweating of the machine’s transformer and silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), which can cause an electrical short.
