Resistance Butt Welder

Resistance butt welders are designed to forma forge-type butt weld between two similarly shaped metal paces without using any filler material. This welder operates with high efficiency and low cost, while handling the welding of different materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, etc. It is ideal for joining the ends of rods, bars, strips, rings, tubes, forgings, and fittings for the manufacturing of products like tools, window frames, and so on.

• Its vertical pneumatic clamp and pneumatic command lever ensure the butt welds are accurate and draw-resistant.
• A track carriage guide with two axes boasts high accuracy and wear- resistance and provides running stability resulting in consistent joint quality.
• Microprocessor controlled constant voltage regulator with high secondary volts for the precise control of the welding time and welding current.
• High Si content electrical steel sheets allows large current output and is helpful for energy conservation and environment protection
• Chillers at temperatures exceeding the dew point can be set to avoid internal sweating of the machine’s transformer and silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), which can result in electrical shorting.
• Water chillers are connected to a programmable stand-alone water recirculating system to provide precise water-cooling for the transformer, silicon controlled rectifier and water-cooling tubes supplied with electrode holders
• Lubrication-free air cylinder with hard chrome plated shaft for high production and long life
• All process parameters are possible with integrated digital motion control system or microprocessor control system
• Bidirectional silicon-controlled rectifier for a positive current output
