UN Portable Butt Welder

The UN portable butt welder provides consistent pressure distribution with a high output current. The device is energy saving and enables fast welding speeds with good welding quality. This welder is commonly applied for the welding of metal wires, rods, panels, and other specially shaped metal products. It is especially suited for welding reinforcing bars or other seamless welding jobs.

Chillers at temperatures exceeding the dew point can be set to avoid internal sweating of the machine’s transformer and silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), preventing electrical shorts.
